 Farrallon Islands

            ‘The Farrallon Islands or rocks are a distance of 20 miles from Cape Drake. The Russian and the ten Aleuts who live there were sent by the fort to hunt sea lions and fur seals.             October 7th, 1822 Munin arrived in the morning from the Farrallon Islands. On the way here, they had killed a sea turtle of enormous size...Munin said that they had taken 750 fur seals this year.

            1. One Russian and several Aleuts live on the Farrallon islands, where they hunt sea lions and fur seals. They salt the sea lion meat and use the skins to cover large baidaras and baidarkas...
